SUBSCRIBING AND UNSUBSCRIBING

For several reasons - to avoid causing needless competition and jealousy, and to make it clear that I have no preference for any (female) YouTuber over any other (female) YouTuber -  long time back I stopped "subscribing" to any new YouTube videos, although I sometimes do feel like subscribing but resist the urge to do so. I don't like the idea of anyone joining the rat race. But I have the courtesy not to "unsubscribe" the very few You Tube videos I subscribed before. So, I feel surprised when I see that some (female) YouTuber whom I subscribed before (if I remember correctly) shows the option to "subscribe". Why did that happen? I never unsubscribe. Occasionally, some (female) YouTuber (whom I cannot recall having subscribed before) seems to have been subscribed by Me. As for Me, I do not want any "subscriber" for any of My YouTube podcasts but I am surprised that sometimes a few of My YouTube podcasts have non-zero (3 or 4 maybe) subscribers when I expect ZERO subscriber. (I don't want to join the rat race, and I have no desire to make money from My blog posts or podcasts.)

I also do not want any "views" but I regret that I cannot have zero view because I listen to each of My own podcasts at least once and this creates at least 1 view. (I am not sure how YouTube statistics operates.) I have blocked comments, not because I look down upon 'laloo panjoos' but coz I don't want to waste My time.
